Gennady V. Soldatenkov Deputy President and Chairman of the Management Board

Mr. Soldatenkov joined VTB Bank in 2001.

Previously held positions include:
1997-2001 - Deputy Chairman of Sberbank of Russia, Chairman of the Moscow Bank of Sberbank of Russia;
1992-1997 - Vice President of Sberbank of Russia, Chairman of the Moscow Bank of Sberbank of Russia;
1986-1992 - Head of the Moscow Territorial Department of Sberbank of the USSR (the RF);
1982-1986 - Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee in Kalinin Municipality in the City of Moscow;
1975-1982 - various positions in the State Bank of the USSR.

Born in 1952 in the Minsk Region.
In 1975, Mr. Soldatenkov graduated with honors from the Moscow Financial Institute, specializing in finance and credit. In 1989, he graduated from Moscow Party Higher School and in 1990 - from the Higher Commerce School of the Academy of National Economy under the USSR Council of Ministers.
