Support of the veterans of the Great Patriotic War and disabled people

The bank financially supports societies of veterans and disabled people to hold cultural events for the veterans, issue brochures with recollections of the war participants,  render targeted financial assistance to the veterans and disabled people in need.

The funds are allocated to hold solemn events celebrated in honor of the veterans confined to such holidays as the Defender of the Motherland Day and the Victory Day.

In 2007, VTB provided charity support to the following organizations:

• Regional public organization of war and labor veterans and the disabled people of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation;
• Ramenskoe division of the International Fund of Slavic writing and culture for the veterans of the 100th Guards Svirsky Order of the Red Banner airborne division;
• Moscow House of war veterans (pensioners) and Military Forces;
• Local district organization Taganskaya of the Moscow city public organization of the All-Russian Society of the Disabled;
• Russian public charitable fund of war, labor and armed forces veterans (pensioners);
• All-Russian public organization of the war and military service veterans;
• Regional public organization Council of the Military Intelligence Veterans;
• Regional charitable public fund of support to Suvorov Military School and Suvorov Brotherhood military schools graduates;
• All-Russian public organization of the blind, veterans and the disabled of the Moscow Southern Administrative District;
• Interregional public organization of the war and military service disabled of Russia;
• All-Russian public organization of the disabled Football federation of Russia.
